Is there a credit card application that will give you an immediate response? I just recently came back from vacation and am going on another in approximately two weeks, where extra funds would be nice to have. I am curious to know if there is a legitimate (key word) online credit card application that doesn't take 30 days to give a response. And if there is, what is the website? Thank you all for all of your help. I went with Capital One.
Will a credit card application today affect closing on a home tomorrow? I'm closing on a house tomorrow. Will my credit card application that went through today (rejected, btw) affect anything tomorrow? Or is it safe to assume all of the loan stuff is pretty much done, we just have to sign the papers? I have no credit history. We're signing the papers tonight, but since it's after business hours they said it won't go through until tomorrow. Does this make any difference?
What should I do if my credit card application was denied? I just tried submitting an online application for Capital One after receiving an offer in the mail but it was denied right away. I read somewhere that your credit score can be lowered from getting denied from too many. It's my first time trying to get one so I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do. How am I supposed to know which ones will deny my application? What should my next step for getting a credit card be?
What is the punishment for lying about age on a credit card application? I'm underage (16) and I got to thinking about people my age who have credit cards (and not with their parents account/consent). They've lied about their age on the application. Is there any punishment for this? Does anyone find out? Could a minor really get into trouble for this? Can't you just pay off the card?
Why was my online credit card application declined? I am a student and want to get a credit card, so I applied for catalog card USA platinum. But they declined my application. Can any one know why was they declined my application?
WHy is it taking 30 days to get a response from an online credit card application? I applied online yesteray for my first credit card and they said I would get a response within 30 days. Why does it take so long? Is it because I have no credit and it was a student credit card? Also, I said I had both savings and a checking account but right now I only have a savings but will be getting a checking account on Saturday. Is it ok that I said I had both a checkings and a saving? Will it make them reject my application? Are they eager to give a credit card to someone like me, a young person likely to give them money for interest? I am just anxious about the whole thing. I am going to be responsible with it because I am careful with all my money. also I didn't know what they meant by residence when they asked rent or own? do they seriously expect me to pay for rent at this age? So I selected "Other" and put zero paid month;y for my residence because that is what I pay, I mean I help my mom out sometimes but thats it. lol iceman, I said I made 6K a year because that is what I made in 2005 well it was labled a student credit card....being wary should be expected of them if they think this. yeah it was CHASE what is the purpose of advertising student credit cards then?? they are designed for people like me who have no creidt. thanks for not answering my question.
Is lying about income on a Credit Card application illegal? From what I understand they very rarely verify the income you list. Is there anything illegal about exaggerating annual income on a Credit Card application for the purposes of getting approved/getting a higher starting limit? Please don't give me ethics, I just want to know if it constitutes fraud (could be a typo for all they know) or if there's anything illegal about my SPECIFIC question. I would like a Yes or No if possible.
What Does This Mean On A Credit Card Application? I'm thinking of getting a new credit card. Even though I've made every payment on time and in full my current card is starting to add all kinds of fees. On the application, under "Interest Rates and Interest Charges", it says "If you are charged periodic interest, the charge will be no less than $1.50". What is "periodic interest"? The application does not explain what this is.
What to enter in the fields in a credit card application? I have credit cards already, but I am in a unique situation. I am 20 and living on my own but with my parent's income. I recently got an American Express application and when I called to ask about what I could put in the household income field, I was told I could include my parent's income. Is this true? I do not remember on some credit apps if I put my parent's household income or not, because I was never sure and was living on my own. I have put my income as how much I regularly get a month from my parent's. Is this borderline fraud or is this typical? No one really explains it clearly.
How does my dad co-sign on my credit card application? I'm 19 and in college but don't have a credit card yet, but when I applied they turned me town, so I guess I need a parent to co-sign on it. But it doesn't say anything about that on the application? What am I supposed to do about that?

Believe you cannot obtain a paper credit card application? I have requested a paper credit card application for my father who would be 86 and would prefer to submit an application by mail. I was told that there was no place online to print the paper application, but paper applications were available from branches. As the closest branch would be a 24 mile round trip I wonder when I call the branch they will use their bulk rate postage to sent an application by mail or insist I drive to the branch? Does this smell of some kind of discrimination against those who choose not to reveal credit card information online?
Chase Online Credit Card Application response? Received pre-approved offer in mail for Chase Visa Platinum credit card, applied online using offer code and received email response after submitted: "We will notify you of your approval status in 30 days by U.S. Mail...etc." Does anyone have any experience with this kind of response and what it could mean? Good sign, are they actually considering the application or is it a bad sign for getting approved? Are online credit card normally applications immediately approved or not? I only have 2 cards, not high limits and good credit score.
Why has the credit card application been declined? My partner has applied for 2 credit cards (Egg and Barclaycard) and has been declined for both of them. He has never had a credit card before but has had several loans and a mortgage which he has never missed a payment on. Will the fact that he's never had a credit card have been held against him? Now if he applies for another card, he has to tick the box that asks if he's been declined for a credit card before and that will work against him even more. He's 26 if that makes any difference.

On what factors they may have rejected my Citibank credit card application? I have an account in Citibank with healthy balance and regular inflows. I have taken a few loans in recent times and did not default in payment. My credit score is around 560. I also use my dad's credit card (joint account) with huge credit limit and have excellent repayment history since I've been paying on this card for over 14 months. This would have been my own first credit card. I'm in employment/business for last 3.5 years after completing college.
Is it possible that my credit card application is denied because of the company I work with? I recently applied for a credit card, but was denied. The reason was the company I work for does not meet their requirement or that the company does not earn much or to that effect. Does this also mean that the company is at the verge of closing? They told me that I passed the salary requirement. Except for the company because it is not earning that much. Actually, this is the first time I heard of this. It is a bank in the middle east. I can't believe I got denied because my company has a poor credit score?
